FOCUS ON INTENTIONS
While the whole Lord Rama being exiled act showed us one thing, the intention behind all this was another. Lord Vishnu had reincarnated and descended as Rama to liberate Ravana.Very similarly, every act of people around us is to lead us towards our betterment. While we focus on their actions they seem nothing but rude or wrong to us. But if we ever focus on their intentions we will realize that all they did was for our good. The most common example is of a mother. Whether she scolds, punishes or forces a few habits in us, it is for our benefit in the long run. While we may not value it at the time, but we are ever grateful when we grow and are capable of realizing her intention behind all that drama.
Spirituality teaches us to grow. It teaches us to focus on the intention of the person first, so that years are not lost waiting to realize it and the present is enjoyed. And most definitely everyone blesses us in unusual ways. While an arguing person’s intention could be to increase our patience level, a scolding person’s intention could be to improve our habits. They come to remind us of our potential. When we shift our focus on their intention and not their action we will start being grateful to them.
Only cosmos knows the big picture. In every situation cosmos makes people a medium to send us a message. Being spiritual is deciphering that message to aid our happiness. Like when someone causes us a loss in business, the cosmos’ intention could be to guide us in a more profitable direction. Or if we lose a relation it is because another beautiful relation awaits us. Basically, everything from being born to dying and within it happens for a reasonwhich is only meant to enrich us. When that reason or intention is understood we start thoroughly enjoying every situation or person as we realize that he has come tous only for our wellbeing.
