Q: Who has created this world and what is the purpose?
A: The world is an automatic manifestation of
Pure Consciousness. Pure Consciousness which is formless, omnipresent,
omnipotent and eternal, goes through a process of modification
within itself which brings about a change in it from subtle to
grosser aspect. Different stages of this change has been identified
with different names such as Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.
They are also called as five basic elements and everything in
the world is a combination of these five elements in various proportions.Everything
in the world is destructible After destruction they disintegrate
and merge back into their original source. The manifestation of
world is not with any purpose but is out of a natural process
of modification within Pure Consciousness similar to a modification
of Ocean to water vapor, water vapor to gas, gas to clouds and
from clouds back to water.
